ACT of Connecticut Appoints Rebecca Baglio to Board of Directors
Ridgefield, Conn. (July 29, 2019) – ACT (A Contemporary Theatre) of Connecticut is thrilled to announce the appointment of Ridgefield resident Rebecca Baglio to its Board of Directors. Baglio is a native New Yorker who began her career as a corporate attorney specializing in mergers and acquisitions. Now, Baglio, her husband, and her two daughters reside in Ridgefield, where she is co-founder of Romeo + Baglio Design, a residential and commercial interior design firm.
A founding donor of ACT of CT, Baglio’s enthusiasm for the theatre was instantaneous. “From the first moment I heard about ACT of CT’s plan to bring the bright lights of Broadway to Ridgefield, I had no doubt it would be a success,” said Baglio. “After meeting with Katie, Daniel, and Bryan, I knew this ‘dream team’ was a group with whom I wanted to be involved.”
“Rebecca is an incredible addition to our Board of Directors and we are thrilled to welcome her,” says Executive Director Katie Diamond. Artistic Director Daniel C. Levine enthuses, “Rebecca’s support and enthusiasm for ACT’s mission will only serve to enhance our offerings to the community.”
Baglio also serves on the Board of Directors for The Princess Ball, a nonprofit organization that inspires girls in grades one through eight to impact the world through partnerships with six local children’s charities. Baglio, a self-proclaimed “soccer mom” and “dance mom,” is an enthusiast of the arts and, of course, all things Ridgefield.
