Our Commitment

We believe art and education can change the world. While one person can make a big difference, we believe everyone needs to be committed to inclusivity, equity, diversity, and belonging.

Everyday, we see violence, neglect, poverty, racism, sexism, ageism, ableism, sizeism, homophobia, transphobia, anti-semitism, Islamophobia, xenophobia, and other systemic forms of oppression and bias.

We promise to confront and challenge our own implicit biases.

We vow to reflect on our shortcomings in the past.

A.C.T. of CT is for everyone. No one should ever feel unwelcome or unsafe while working with A.C.T. or within our spaces. Therefore, we vow to use internal resources to help make A.C.T. a community for all.

Join us in supporting these incredible arts organizations focused on making change:

ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

A.C.T. of CT strives to ensure that its services, products, and content are accessible to people with disabilities. We have invested a significant amount of resources to help ensure this website is made easier to use and more accessible for people with disabilities, with the strong belief that every person has the right to live with dignity, equality, comfort and independence.

The accessibility menu can be enabled by clicking the accessibility menu icon that appears on the lower left corner of every page. After triggering the accessibility menu, please wait a moment for the accessibility menu to load in its entirety.

Despite our efforts to make all pages and content fully accessible, some content may not have yet been fully adapted to the strictest accessibility standards. This may be a result of not having found or identified the most appropriate technological solution. We will continue our efforts to constantly improve the accessibility of this website in the belief that it is our collective moral obligation to allow seamless, accessible, and unhindered use also for those of us with disabilities. Please share any suggestions with hello@actofct.org.
